Local wool spinner and historical reenactor Amber Thomas demonstrates traditional hand wool spinning using techniques and tools from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The hour-long session is informal and drop-in: families can come any time, watch the wool become yarn, ask questions and chat with Amber about a skill that was once part of everyday life. It is listed for all ages from preschoolers to adults and suits kids studying early American history.
