Columbus Recreation and Parks' theatre program stages Way Out West, a comedy set in the little town of Dry Gulch, where a band of outlaws rides in and the quirky townsfolk, with no sheriff, must restore order with help from a mysterious newcomer and some adventurous kids. Written by Michael Schirtzinger and directed by Stefanie Schirtzinger, it plays two performances at Westgate Community Center. Tickets are $5 at the door, an inexpensive first live-theatre outing for children.
