Author-illustrator Stacie Martin leads a hands-on workshop for children ages 4 to 6 built around her picture book I Am Momo. Kids meet Momo, a lovable monster, through an interactive read-aloud with a puppet and big book, practice early reading with the words "I" and "am," join a Momo-themed movement song, see how an idea becomes a published book, learn to draw Momo and create their own "I Am" artwork to share. Each child takes home a copy of the book. Two sessions are offered at Liberty Branch Library: 1:00-2:15 p.m. and 3:00-4:15 p.m. Tickets are $39.19 and are on sale now through the library's Friends of the Library listing.
