North Texas Performing Arts' young performers stage Annie KIDS, a shortened youth version of the musical Annie, at NTPA's Plano theatre from October 29 to November 1, 2026. The story follows orphan Annie, who escapes the cruel Miss Hannigan and finds a new family with Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell and Sandy the dog. NTPA suggests it for all ages. This makes a good first musical for preschoolers and early-primary children, and a fun outing for friends of the cast. Showtimes are Thursday, October 29 at 6:15 p.m.; Friday, October 30 at 6:15 p.m.; Saturday, October 31 at 1:15 p.m.; and Sunday, November 1 at 11:15 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 from October 26, with front-row seats at $25, plus a $2 Save Our Stages fee.
