Texas Ballet Theater has started a new series of short ballets for young children ages 3–8. The first show is Aurora's Wedding from Sleeping Beauty, danced by TBT's Studio Training Company at the TBT Fort Worth Dance Lab. Each performance lasts 45 minutes, which is about right for preschoolers and early-primary children who aren't ready for a full-length ballet. After the show, children are invited onto the stage to learn a few steps from the dancers. There are two performances: Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person and are sold separately for each date on the event page. Dress children in clothes they can move in for the dance lesson afterwards.
