Bright Nights at Four Mile fills Denver's oldest standing house museum grounds with giant illuminated silk lanterns handcrafted in the Zigong tradition by Tianyu Arts & Culture. This year's route travels through space and time: visitors shrink to the size of a Four Mile honeybee to walk beside a giant mantis and oversized wildflowers, then cross the globe to African animals and dive into an ocean with sharks, themes inspired by Victorian literary classics. Children enjoy the scale of the lanterns, and an optional Time and Space Traveler ticket adds a self-guided riddle and scavenger-hunt packet with a tote bag. Food trucks sell snacks and meals each night, and a silent-disco headset rental is sold onsite. The festival runs Wednesday through Sunday until November 8: 7–11 pm through October 25, then 6–11 pm from October 28 to November 8. Online tickets are $28 for adults and $21 for youth ($30/$23 at the door), $20/$15 for members. Four Mile is a KultureCity sensory-friendly site with free sensory bags, and families can also see the lanterns unlit during daytime admission, Wednesday–Sunday 10 am–4 pm. Tickets are rain or shine and non-refundable.
