Upcoming dates: Tue, Oct 20 · Tue, Nov 17
Monthly after-school craft hours for children at the Deer Park Public Library, recommended for ages 5 to 11. In October the craft is a cute flapping bat (listed as 'Spinning Spider') for Halloween, on Tuesday, October 20; in November children make a 'Springy Squirrel' on Tuesday, November 17. Both sessions run from 4 to 5 p.m. Instead of coming in person, families can pick up a take-and-make kit from the circulation desk a few days before (from October 16 and November 13). No fee or registration is mentioned on the city calendar.
