Girls Who Code Club at West Wyandotte Library is a group for 3rd- through 5th-grade girls who design, code, read and explore computer science together. Each meeting combines activities, discussions and creative challenges based on the book Learn to Code and Change the World, and the club emphasises bravery, resilience and computational thinking through games, social time and stories of women in technology. It is best for girls who have never coded or have only a little coding knowledge. The next meeting is Saturday, November 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the craft room.
