Johnson County Library's take on gingerbread houses comes to the De Soto Library on a Friday afternoon in December. The MakerSpace prepares a base structure for every participant, and each person gets icing and colourful candy to build and decorate their own graham cracker cottage to take home. The library says the craft is best for children working with a caregiver, so plan to sit down and build together. The session runs one hour, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on December 11.
