JamBOOree is JCPRD's Halloween family night at New Century Fieldhouse near Gardner. Children come dressed in their Halloween best for themed activities, thrills and chills, and trick-or-treat on the fieldhouse's indoor soccer field (the One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning Soccer Field), which keeps the candy route dry and warm whatever the weather. Nonperishable food donations are welcome at the door. The event runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 23, and suits toddlers through elementary-age children.
