A two-hour jigsaw puzzle building competition at Gamber Community Center in Lee's Summit, designed by the parks department as a fun, family-friendly evening. Teams of two to four people race to finish the same competition puzzle; the three fastest teams win prizes and every team takes its puzzle home. There are snacks, prizes and an optional puzzle swap table, and friends and family can come along to cheer. Registration is per team (maximum four members), so a parent and kids can enter together. The evening runs 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11.
