Blue Valley Library welcomes Pets for Life therapy dogs and cats for a Saturday-morning reading session on December 5. In the R.E.A.D. program children read to an attentive animal volunteer and its handler, building fluency and confidence in a relaxed setting. Families collect a ticket on arrival and wait for a turn with one of the visiting animals. The session runs from 10 to 11:15 a.m.
