A beginner-friendly cookie decorating class at the Mr. & Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library in Kansas City, Kansas. Each participant decorates a set of three winter-themed sugar cookies while learning several icing techniques, then leaves with the finished cookies plus a cookie and icing recipe to use at home. All materials are provided. The class is open to ages 12 and up, so it suits teens and older kids with a parent who also registers; only the registered participant decorates, because supplies are prepared per registration. It runs two hours on the Saturday before Christmas. Registration is required.
