A weekly movement class at the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, presented by The Strip Movement. Animal Flow builds strength and flexibility through a sequence of poses inspired by animals that live in Nevada's natural environment, and each week focuses on a different desert-dwelling animal with a fresh series of poses tied to how it lives. The museum describes the class as great for all ages, including families and seniors, so it can work as a parent-and-child activity for kids who like to move and pretend to be animals. Sessions run on Saturday afternoons for about an hour. The fee is $10 for youth and $20 for adults, with discount packages for anyone signing up for multiple sessions. Advance reservations are required: register by 5 pm on the Friday before by emailing the museum's education department. The museum is on the Springs Preserve campus; wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
