Henderson's annual Indigenous American Heritage Celebration fills Water Street Plaza with live music, dance and storytelling from Indigenous performers. Families can browse work by Native artisan vendors, including paintings, handcrafted jewelry, sculpture and beadwork, eat from selected food trucks, and join interactive activities and demonstrations; the city lists crafts and storytellers among the day's activities. The celebration runs from 10 am to 3 pm and is free for all ages. It is promoted by Nuwu Art, a Las Vegas Native-led art and community center. Parking in the Water Street District's public garages and lots is free.
