Jewish Nevada lists a community menorah lighting, Light the Menorah, at Downtown Summerlin on Sunday, December 6, 2026, the third night of Hanukkah. The event is listed for 4 to 6 pm on the Jewish Nevada community calendar, which is run by the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas and its JCC, PJ Library and family programs. Public menorah lightings are a chance for children to watch the candles being lit, hear the blessings and join in the holiday together with other families in an outdoor shopping-district setting. The organizer says further details are still to be announced, so the exact spot within Downtown Summerlin, activities for kids and any cost are not published yet. Families who plan to go should check the calendar listing closer to the date or contact the organizer listed on the page.
