Cubebotics Club is Discovery Cube Orange County's hands-on robotics, coding and AI program for kids in grades 1 through 6, built around collaborative challenges, rotating activities and family-friendly sessions with educators and guest mentors from local robotics programs. November's session focuses on micro:bit physical programming and block-based coding: in 'Pet Hamster with Micro:bit', kids use block-based programming to create a virtual pet hamster on a micro:bit, designing interactions and programming its behaviors to give it a personality. The club is for Discovery Cube members with a valid membership, and a parent or guardian must stay to take part. The museum says registration is coming soon.
