A half-hour story time held outdoors in Descanso Gardens' Magnolia Court for children ages 2 to 7 with a caregiver. Staff read garden- and nature-themed picture books at 10 am on a Tuesday each month (October 27 and November 24 this fall). The program used to be called 'Little Owls' and has moved to the new 10 am start time. It is included with garden admission or membership and no registration is required, so it pairs easily with a morning walk through the oak woodland or camellia forest.
