Annual Howl-o-ween Festival: trick-or-treat along the El Dorado Nature Center trails (last trail entry 5 pm), visit the animal education village to meet creepy crawly critters, hear spooky stories, bounce in the Opossum Patch bounce house, plus face painting and family crafts; food trucks on site. Costumes encouraged. Free parking (last vehicle entry 4:30 pm); a $5 per person donation is encouraged for the Friends of El Dorado Nature Center.
