Downey's space and science museum stages a Halloween night of hands-on science for all ages, with no scary content. Families move between stations including a spooky robotics lab and slime making, watch a science show packed with demonstrations, and trick-or-treat with the center's Girls in STEM club. Costumes are strongly encouraged. It runs from 4 to 9 pm (members get early access from 3 pm). Admission is $5 per person and children 3 and under are free; tickets are sold in person only and are non-refundable, and pre-sale ticket holders pick up wristbands at the Advance Ticket Sales booth in front of the center.
