Coral Gables Parks and Recreation turns the War Memorial Youth Center basketball gym into walk-through haunted houses for one night. It is genuinely scary and the city says it is not suitable for children under 5, so it fits older kids and teens best. Tickets are $6.50, single-use and non-refundable, and nobody is admitted after 9:30 pm. Families with younger siblings may prefer the city's Gentle Trick-or-Treat or Trick-or-Treat on the Mile the same weekend.
