Orchestra Miami's woodwind quintet performs Bruce Adolphe's Zephyronia, a comic musical story in which Flora and Flutter teach an emperor on a distant planet that wind power is a better way to run things. Through music, humor and storytelling children learn about wind energy and caring for the planet. Arrive early for an instrument petting zoo from the Kendall Conservatory of Music, where kids can try instruments up close; after the roughly one-hour concert there are complimentary cookies and juice. Parking at Pinecrest Gardens is free.
