Children make Halloween pictures using chigiri-e, the Japanese technique of building images from torn colored paper, at a drop-in Family Fun Day in Morikami's Kamiya Room. No reservation is needed and the craft is included with paid museum admission, so families can drop in any time between noon and 3 pm and then walk the Japanese gardens. Suitable for kids of all ages; little ones may need help tearing shapes.
