Zoo Miami runs one-day day camps for ages 5–12 on school holidays and teacher planning days, 8:30 am–4 pm with free aftercare until 5:30 pm. Each day has a theme: Expedition Everglades on November 3 (wetlands, native wildlife and adaptations), Tracks and Trails on November 11 (following animal tracks and clues like a field scientist), and Winter Safari on December 18 (animal experiences, crafts and games). Campers bring a packed lunch or add the optional "Animeals" lunch plan at registration, and bring their own snacks. Register through the zoo's camp registration page, which lists pricing per session.
