Gumbo Limbo Nature Center runs a half-day Winter Break Camp on December 21, 22 and 23 for young conservationists ages 6–8. Campers do hands-on activities about the coastal and marine habitats around the nature center — the beach, dune hammock and the sea turtle and marine life the center is known for. Families can sign up for one, two or all three days. Hours are 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Cost per child per day is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents; reservations go through the City's WebTrac system (activity 155030). Refunds are only given if the center cancels.
