Ramsey County Parks & Recreation – Tamarack Nature Center

Frogs & Polliwogs is Tamarack Nature Center's adult-and-child nature program for children ages 2 to 6. This single session, built around Denise Fleming's book Time to Sleep, looks at how animals get ready for winter: who grows a big furry coat and who sleeps through the season. Children and their grown-ups search for cozy hiding places around the nature center and explore the fur and feathers that keep animals warm. It meets in the South Classroom from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. The fee is $15 per household, the session is limited to five registrations, and an online account is needed to register.
