A hands-on beginner ice fishing class at Fort Snelling State Park over MLK weekend. Instructors provide the equipment and explain how to fish through the ice, where to fish, how to judge ice safety and the key Minnesota fishing rules. It is a catch-and-release educational program, so no fishing license is required during the class. A good first try for families and teens who have never ice fished. Pre-registration is required.
