Starting with Slöjd is ASI's monthly handcraft class for early elementary students, introducing new tools, materials and skills. In this session instructor Anna Ruhland teaches basic needle-felting techniques so children can make felted flair and buttons to pin on clothing or backpacks. It is a drop-off program: adults may not stay with children during the 75-minute class. Suitable for students in grades K-2; advance registration required. $20 per student ($15 for ASI members).
