A winter-break bead craft session at the Minnetonka library. Kids arrange colourful Perler beads into their own designs, which are then melted together into keychains, jewelry and other small keepsakes. Materials are provided and all ages are welcome. Wednesday, December 30, 2-3:30 p.m. Free; sponsored by the Friends of the Hennepin County Library. Older kids (grades 2-9) have a longer Perler session the day before, December 29, 4-6 p.m., at the Hopkins library.
