About this adventure
ASI marks julgransplundring, the Swedish custom of gathering one last time around the Christmas tree before the decorations come down, with a party inspired by Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Longstocking stories. Pippi herself joins the celebration, and ASI educators with musician Ross Sutter lead an afternoon of crafts, music and movement: children make decorations, dance around the Christmas trees and play. The event welcomes children of all ages with their grown-ups. Food and drinks from the FIKA cafe may be enjoyed during the program.
