The Melrose Center makerspace at the Orlando Public Library opens for Family STEM Saturdays on November 7, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Families drop in to build and tinker with littleBits electronic modules, Snap Circuits and K'NEX construction sets, working at their own pace with library staff on hand. It is open to ages 4 to 104, and children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent. A good way for elementary-age kids to try circuits and simple engineering together with a grown-up.
