FunFest is The Franklin Institute's after-hours family fundraiser. On Friday, November 13 from 4:30 to 8:00 PM, families have the museum to themselves to explore exhibits, eat treats and try play zones designed just for the night, while grown-ups can have a cocktail. The cheapest ticket package, Mini Molecule, is $300 for one adult and one child; Mighty Molecule is $600 for two adults and two children (part of each is tax-deductible). Children 2 and under are free, and everyone 3 and up needs a ticket. Tickets can also be bought at the door; guests check in under their last name. Self-parking in the museum garage at 271 N. 21st Street is free for the event.
