Buckeye's annual Glow on Monroe is a free electric light parade through downtown. Vintage vehicles, horse groups and industrial vehicles decked out in holiday lights roll along Monroe Avenue from 2nd Street to Apache Road, with local school marching bands supplying the music. The parade steps off at 6:30 p.m.; afterwards families can stay for pictures with Santa. Bring chairs and a jacket and claim a curb spot along Monroe early.
