At this free workshop at HD SOUTH in Gilbert, children stitch a holiday-themed cross-stitched wall hanging with instructor Louise Kircher. The design comes stamped on unbleached muslin, so beginners can follow the pattern, and each participant takes home the finished piece; all supplies are provided. The class runs from 10:00 am to noon on Saturday, November 14, and is recommended for ages 8 to 14. Class size is limited and registration is required. The finished hanging can serve as a handmade holiday decoration or gift.
