Chandler's monthly STEAM Jr. hour for ages 2 to 5 goes prehistoric in November with a dinosaur theme. Toddlers and preschoolers work through simple, hands-on activities that introduce science, technology, engineering, art and math while building motor skills, social skills and confidence. Caregivers stay and join in, since the library treats them as the child's first teacher. The session meets in the Copper Room North on the Downtown Library's second floor on a Thursday afternoon (STEAM Jr. runs every first Thursday). No registration is listed, so drop in a few minutes early. Supported by the Friends of Chandler Public Library.
