On Halloween day the Wildlife World Zoo invites families to come in costume during regular hours and watch the animals enjoy special Halloween treats, with animal enrichment moments announced on the zoo's social media. The draw for parents: each child dressed in costume gets free admission with a paid adult (one child per paid adult admission, not combinable with other offers) and a goodie bag of treats. That makes it a good-value day to see the cheetahs, aquarium sharks and rays, Dragon World reptiles and the included Sea Lion and bird-feeding shows. Regular October hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. for the zoo and until 7 p.m. for the aquarium; adult tickets are $49 plus tax.
