A drop-in, come-and-go Halloween program at the San Tan Mountain Regional Park Nature Center. Ranger Nikki introduces the park's animal ambassadors — snakes, a chuckwalla, a tarantula, a Gila monster and tortoises — and explains their life cycles and adaptations and what to do if you meet their wild relatives on the trail. Activity sheets and coloring pages for kids. Stop by any time between noon and 2 PM; no registration. Restrooms and water at the Nature Center.
