Vertuccio Farms in east Mesa holds its 28th annual Fall Festival through October 31, themed 'Rooted in America, Growing Since 1999' for the nation's 250th birthday. Admission covers the farm's fall attractions, including the corn maze (not lit at night, so bring a flashlight or buy glow sticks), the new Hen House Hustle, a mega slide, train, tube rolls, jump pads, pig races and a petting zoo. Hours: Wednesday and Thursday 3–9 PM, Friday and Saturday 9 AM–10 PM, Sunday noon–7 PM; closed Monday and Tuesday except the last week of October. Admission is $17 per person; ages 2 and under are free. Discounts at the gate: $2 off with a non-perishable food bank donation, $3 off for military and first responders, $2 off for seniors. Pumpkins can be bought in the Pumpkin Barn without festival admission. Leashed, friendly dogs are allowed and the farm is wheelchair accessible, though parts of the maze are bumpy.
