The week before Thanksgiving, Basha Library's STEAM Jr. session in the Basha Barn gives ages 2 to 5 a half hour of seasonal hands-on learning: a Thanksgiving sensory bin full of textures and surprises, a science demo that makes cranberries dance, an I Spy observation game, a turkey craft and Thanksgiving-themed math. Caregivers participate with their child. STEAM Jr. at Basha meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 11:15 a.m.; no registration is listed. Supported by the Friends of Chandler Public Library.
