The Ligonier Valley Historical Society opens the historic Compass Inn Museum in Laughlintown by candlelight for four evenings of holiday tours. Rooms are decorated with wreaths and fresh pine boughs, and by candle and firelight the docents pass on the holiday traditions celebrated there in the past. Tours run November 28 and 29 and December 12 and 13, 2026, between 4 and 8 pm. Tickets are sold for a tour start time and a visit lasts about an hour and a half; walk-ins are accepted, but a preferred time is not guaranteed. Admission is $15 for adults, $13 for adults 62 and older and $10 for youth ages 6–17; children 5 and under, active military and society members are free. It suits school-age children who enjoy history and families looking for a quieter holiday outing in the Ligonier Valley.
