For Native American Heritage Month, East County Library in Gresham hosts community artist, teacher and storyteller Andrea "Drea" Robideau (Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate; White Earth Nation Anishinaabe and Lipan Apache) on Saturday, November 14, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Families learn traditional Native games together and explore what the library calls the healing power of play, alongside Native stories. Robideau is a local educator and a frequent presenter at the library. The hour-long program is listed for kids and families, and the library's calendar shows no registration step. It is made possible by gifts to The Library Foundation.
