For one week in early November the Oregon Zoo drops general admission to $13, a good chance for families to visit the elephants, sea otters, penguins and other animals at a lower price before the holiday crowds. The zoo is open 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the promotion. Infants aged 0 to 1 are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult ticket. The discounted price cannot be combined with other discounts, including membership. Tickets are sold through the zoo's online ticketing. Daily keeper talks and animal activities continue as usual; check the zoo's keeper talk schedule on the day of your visit.
