Sandy's fifth annual Shortest Day Walkway marks the winter solstice with an evening family scavenger hunt through decorated Meinig Memorial Park. Along the route are special stops hosted by each City of Sandy department, with hidden treasures to find and holiday cheer along the way. It is part of the city's Winterfest series and is aimed at families and friends of all ages. Dress for the cold and bring a flashlight for little ones.
