Inland Valley Classical Ballet Theatre (Temecula Ballet) brings its full-length Nutcracker to the Old Town Temecula Community Theater for the company's 20th season on that stage, billed as the most authentic Russian-style presentation in the valley. Children follow Masha and the familiar cast of characters from the Christmas party through the sparkling snow scene to the Land of Sweets, with Tchaikovsky's score and classical ballet from a local company. Performances run about two hours across two weekends: Friday November 20 at 7 pm; Saturday November 21 at 2, 4 and 7 pm; Friday November 27 at 7 pm; Saturday November 28 at 2 and 7 pm; and Sunday November 29 at 4 pm. Matinees are the easiest choice for younger children. Reserved seats are $45 orchestra, $40 parterre and $35 balcony, sold through the theater's box office website.
