Richmond Public Library

Richmond Public Library invites families to build a community altar for 'nuestros muertitos' with music, dance and memories. The Bay Area ensemble Cascada de Flores leads an interactive, bilingual musical journey through Día de Muertos traditions from Mexico and Central America, so children can sing, move and learn the meaning behind the ofrenda. The program takes place in the Nevin Side Rooms at the Auditorium Branch Library, the library's temporary home in the Civic Center, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm after school.
