Priya Narayana of Laya Arts Collective visits the Moraga Library to introduce Diwali through interactive storytelling, classical Indian movement and abhinaya, the expressive gestures at the heart of Indian dance. Children hear Indian myths and folk tales brought to life and are invited to try the gestures themselves. The one-hour after-school program is best for ages 5 and up and is sponsored by the Friends of the Moraga Library.
