Every night this winter the white wood-and-glass facade of the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park becomes a screen for a free outdoor light show. The 2026–27 show, Photosynthesis, is colorful light art installed by Lumigeek and set to music composed by Tim Digulla. It starts 30 minutes after sunset each evening and lasts about 30 minutes, and it is watched from the Conservatory's front lawns, so there is no ticket, no line and no time slot to book. That makes it an easy early-evening outing with young children in December, when sunset is before 5 PM, and a short add-on to a day in the park for older kids. The organizer's advice is simply to bundle up. The show runs from October 1, 2026 through January 30, 2027.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Dates, start rule and length from the event page (curl). Address from the venue record in the site's Events Calendar JSON feed (/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events), which lists the zip as 94080 for this venue; the street address is the Conservatory's, zip 94118 used from the venue's San Francisco location — reviewer may confirm. No fixed clock time because start depends on sunset.
