Local world-music duo Duo Takinai (Dr. Ke Guo and Reynaldo Ruiz) play an hour of live music from Asia, Latin America and the Mediterranean at the Mukilteo Library. Between pieces they introduce the instruments and traditions behind the music and talk about how music reflects language, migration, history and cultural identity. The duo has performed at the Seattle Art Museum, Northwest Folklife, Tacoma Arts Live and Seattle Center. Sno-Isle bills it for music lovers of all ages, including children and families.
