An all-ages volunteer afternoon at the Stroum JCC on Mercer Island ahead of Hanukkah. Families assemble winter warmth kits with essential cold-weather items for refugee families; the finished kits go to local shelters and families. Afterwards there is a cookie-decorating party as an early Hanukkah celebration. Kids can take part alongside their grown-ups, and the J notes the event is open to members and guests of all faiths and backgrounds. Runs 1:00 to 2:30 pm.
