A four-morning winter-break cooking class for kids 7 to 10 at Northgate Community Center. Young chefs learn age-appropriate cooking and baking skills while making homemade edible gifts such as cookies, sweet treats, flavored mixes and other seasonal creations, and talk about kitchen safety and the joy of giving. Each child goes home with packaged holiday gifts and recipe cards. Runs Monday to Thursday, December 21–24, 9:30 am–12:30 pm; $295 for the series, with 6 spots open on Oct 21.
